CSIR-CMERI is the apex R&D Institution in the domain of Mechanical Engineering. The contributions of CSIR-CMERI such as the Swaraj and Sonalika Tractors have made an indelible impact on the Socio-Economic Frame of the Nation. Over the years, the pivotal thrust of CSIR-CMERI’s R&D Policy has been Farm Mechanization, Strategic Technologies such as the Mob Control Vehicle, Water Purification Technologies, Robotics, Industrial Automation, Additive Manufacturing, Municipal Solid and Liquid Waste Management, Hospital Waste Management, Renewable Energy, Agricultural Technologies, Counter COVID Technologies, Aero systems, Industrial Components, Internet of Things, Industry 4.0 amongst others. CSIR-CMERI is powered by some of the brightest minds in the domain of Mechanical Engineering and I am sure if we work fearlessly and selflessly, we can make insurmountable contributions towards National Progress.
As I take over the responsibility of this Magnificent Institution, I invite all to explore our resources and expertise. I believe Together we can be a significant player to transform the Economic, Industrial and Agrarian Scenario of the Nation through apt Technological and Scientific interventions, developed through intensive and impactful R&D.
