HISTORICAL BACKGROUNDS :

Built by Uttamacholan in 1975 A.D. Rajaraja 1st and Rajendra 1st also made some donations to this temple.

STRUCTURAL CONDITION :

facing east with a Garbagraha on Arthamandapa and Mughamandapa. It is good example for chozhas and Dravidian temple Archietecture. Vimana was built by bricks. Incriptions of Uttamachozhas, Rajarajan and Rajendra available here.
