Autonomous Underwater Robotics (UnWaR)

• The major objectives of the project are to carry out extensive research in multi-disciplinary aspects of underwater robotic and vehicle technologies for higher depths with demonstration through following working prototypes:
• Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV) for operation up to seas depth of 500 meters and 1000 meters;
• Sea bed Resident Node (SRN) for profiling sea bed system;
• Robot for under water inspection of Bridge
• Wireless Sensor Networking (WSN) based Communication for Underwater Vehicle; and
• Vision system Module of AUV

Innovative Technologies for Health Assessment and Damage Mitigation of Strcutures (I-Heal)

Development of data collection algorithm using the procured system
Testing of the system on laboratory standard machine foundation test rig and design of prototype for indigenous sensor nodes
Fabrication of indigenous prototype and development of software.
Testing of prototype on laboratory standard machine foundation test rig and submission of final report.
