Profile Details

Graduated in mechanical engineering from Bangalore University (1993),  joined at CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-CMERI), Durgapur in 1995 as Junior Research Fellow after completing Masters Degree in Design and Production Engineering from Burdwan University (1995). Awarded Doctor of philosophy on numerical modeling of injection stage of powder injection moulding from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur (2011). Presently working as Sr. Principal Scientist and heading the Foundry Division at CSIR-CMERI.

The research activities include powder injection moulding (PIM), metal casting and solidification modeling.
