These temples belongs to Adithya Chozha of Chozha dynasity. Few people said that it was built by pazhuvettaiarayars, feudadireous of ChoZha dynasity. This temples are built in a same compound. One is thenvoil sirukoil (Agastheeswarar temple). And the other is vadavoilkoil (Arunachaleswarm Temple). Both the temples contains a Garphagraha an artha mandapa and muga mantapa. Bramma, Dakshinamurthy and Subramaniya were put in the niches of the Devakottams.
