CWSS to 759 Habitations in Tirupathur, Jolarpet, Kandhili, and Natrampalli Union of Tirupattur District was administratively sanctioned for Rs.182.09 crore vide G.O.(Ms) No.201/dated.30.11.2020. The scheme is to be implemented under JJM fund.

The Intermediate (2037) and Ultimate (2052) population for this scheme is 215063 and 2406161 respectively. By adopting pro-rata supply of 55 LPCD the intermediate and ultimate requirements of water for the scheme is 10.54 MLD and 11.55 MLD respectively.

Package I

The source for this CWSS is tapping from existing Vellore. CWSS Gravity main in Tirupathur Municipality Puthupet Road. The clear water is proposed to be conveyed by Branch Gravity main to Common sump of 29.30LL at Kathirimangalam and then pumped to Group sumps @ Ammankoil, Pallathur and Bhandarapalli. From common sump & Group sumps water is pumped to 40 Nos of Panchayat sumps through a Pumping main of length of 549.268 km. From Pumping main it is proposed to supply water to existing and newly constructed 39nos of new OHT’s.

Package II

The source for this CWSS is tapping from existing Vellore. CWSS Gravity main near Periyakambiyampattu, Reddiyur Koot road. The clear water is proposed to be conveyed by Branch Gravity main to Group sump of 6.15LL at Periyakamiyampattu and then pumped to Panchayat sumps @ Ammaiyappa nagar, Athurkuppam, Periyakammiyambattu, Kethandapatti, Koothandakuppam, Pethakallupalli, Nekkunthi, Chinnamottur, Periyamottur, Athurkuppam . From Group sump water is pumped to 10 Nos of Panchayat sumps through a Pumping main of length of 115.02km. From Pumping main it is proposed to supply water to existing and newly constructed 8nos of new OHT’s.

Work order for this scheme was issued on 25.02.2021 and works are in progress. The scheme is targeted for completion by 07/2023 and put into beneficial use.
